Feyenoord sign Tiendalli

Feyenoord have made Utrecht's Dwight Tiendalli their second signing of the week.

Feyenoord have made Utrecht right back Dwight Tiendalli their second signing of the week.

The Holland Under-21 international follows Belgian left back Philippe Leonard in making the switch to De Kuip after the Rotterdam club agreed an undisclosed fee with Utrecht for Tiendalli.

The 20-year-old has signed a four-year contract after passing a medical, with the transfer fee thought to be around ‚é¼1.5 million.

"We are very delighted with Dwight," Feyenoord technical director Peter Bosz told the club's official website.

"He is a very talented player, but has to develop further. He will get that chance at Feyenoord."

The departure of Tiendalli has prompted Utrecht to take a closer look at Ghanaian defender Francis Dickoh.

The 23-year-old currently plies his trade in Denmark with FC Nordsjaelland and has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe.

Dickoh's agent, Karsten Aabrink, confirmed Utrecht had been keeping a very close eye on the defender.

"I can confirm that Utrecht have been to Denmark to watch Francis play," Aabrink told Ekstra Bladet.

"They are interested, we will see what happens the coming few days."

Utrecht have also seen striker Prince Rajcomar move to Belgium with KVSK United after the expiration of his contract.
