Torino have announced that Alessio Cerci has linked up with the club in a co-ownership agreement with Serie A rivals Fiorentina.

Winger moves in co-ownership agreement

Torino have announced that Alessio Cerci has linked up with the club in a co-ownership agreement with Serie A rivals Fiorentina. The winger appeared destined for big things when he burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old at Roma, but was moved on to La Viola in 2010. Now 25, Cerci is still considered to be a useful top-flight performer and netted 12 times in 46 appearances during his time at Stadio Artemio Franchi. Fiorentina are aware that his career could ignite at any time and have ensured that they retain part of his ownership rights. The former Italy U21 international will, however, join up with Torino with immediate effect and form part of their plans for 2012/13. "Torino are happy to announce the acquisition of Alessio Cerci in a co-ownership agreement with Fiorentina," read a statement on the club's official website.
