Striker looking forward to playing in the Champions League
Napoli have completed the signing of striker Goran Pandev on a season-long loan deal from Serie A rivals Inter Milan.
Pandev has struggled to establish himself as a regular in the Inter starting line-up since arriving at Giuseppe Meazza from Lazio in January 2010.
He has now jumped at the opportunity to play regular first-team football and is keen to help Napoli enjoy success in the UEFA Champions League.
"I am very happy to be able to play in the Champions League with a club like Napoli," said Pandev.
"They are a very important club."
Napoli, who finished third in Serie A behind AC Milan and Inter last season were paired with Manchester City, Villarreal and Bayern Munich in Group C of the Champions League.
Pandev is under contract with Inter until June 2014 and becomes the latest signing for Napoli following a summer of change at the club.
