Napoli playmaker has no plans to move on in the summer

Ezequiel Lavezzi is confident he will be a Napoli player in 2012/13, with the Argentine playmaker adamant that he has no offers on the table. Reports continue to suggest that the 26-year-old playmaker will soon be on his way to pastures new, with the likes of Manchester City and Juventus said to be keen. Lavezzi has brushed off mounting speculation in the past and continues to commit himself to Napoli. He says he will not be looking to move on any time soon, meaning any decision on his future will rest in the hands of the club. "My future? I believe that I will be at Napoli next season," Lavezzi told Sky Sport Italia. "I'm happy here, I have a long contract and I am calm. "I have never had contact with Juventus and, from what I know, there have not been any offers from other clubs."

Confident

Lavezzi and Napoli are currently counting down the days to their last-16 showdown with Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League, with the Blues due in Naples next Tuesday. Napoli have already helped to dash the dreams of Manchester City in Europe's premier club competition this season, and they are planning to do the same to another Premier League heavyweight. "The game against Chelsea is the most important one of our season," said Lavezzi. "We are confident in ourselves. "For now we must think about the Serie A game against Fiorentina (on Friday), with it crucial that we get the right boost for the Champions League challenge."
