Ljuboja not out for revenge

Stuttgart new boy Danijel Ljuboja says he does not bear a grudge against PSG.

New Stuttgart man Danijel Ljuboja says he does not bear a grudge against Paris Saint Germain after leaving the Ligue 1 outfit on loan.

The Serbia & Montenegro striker moved to Giovanni Trapattoni's side after falling out of favour at Parc des Princes, and will now look to keep his World Cup dream alive in Die Bundesliga.

After suffering the ignominy of training with the reserves at PSG over the summer, Ljuboja says it was abundantly clear he was not required by coach Laurent Fournier, although insists he harbours no resentment after being loaned out to Germany.

"When I came back from holidays the PSG officials told me I had to find a new club," Ljuboja told But!

"When you train one month with the reserves you quickly understand the club doesn't rely on you.

"It is difficult and I took it as a challenge but I don't bear grudges.

"I needed a change, I don't want any revenge, I am just eager to discover the German league.

"I have always said I didn't want to play in an inferior team than PSG.

"With Stuttgart I am satisfied, it is a club with a great coach. I join them with huge happiness.

"I want to thank the Parisian officials, who didn't set any trouble to understand me and make the deal easier.

"Stuttgart is the first team of high standing that has called me.

"Moreover this season the World Cup is in Germany and I thought about it too."
