Ljuboja's PSG future in doubt

Danijel Ljuboja has been axed by PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic for the trip to Auxerre.

Danijel Ljuboja's relationship with Paris Saint Germain coach Vahid Halilhodzic appears to have taken a further turn for the worse.

The pair have had an uneasy union since pre-season and the situation has not improved during the opening months of the Ligue 1 campaign.

In September, Ljuboja revealed his disgust at being left out of the squad to face Monaco, despite the fact he was not injured.

That scenario has reared its head again with Halilhodzic omitting the Serbo-Montenegrin from his party for Saturday's game against Auxerre.

The striker has no fitness worries and he is unlikely to greet the PSG chief's decision with enthusiasm.

Reports suggest the duo have had another bust-up, as Halilhodzic has axed Ljuboja from his plans despite the lack of available attackers.

Both Jerome Rothen and Reinaldo are injured and Ljuboja's absence for the trip to Auxerre could fuel rumours he will leave the club during January's transfer window.

The 26-year-old only joined PSG from Strasbourg midway through last season but his career in the capital has failed to take off.
