Unsettled Paris Saint Germain star Danijel Ljuboja could be heading to Marseille.Ljuboja is not in the long-term plans of PSG coach Laurent Fournier and has been told he can leave Parc Des Princes.
The 26-year-old has already had contact with Messina, Fiorentina and Osasuna, but he opted against joining any of them.
Now Marseille have emerged as possible contenders for his signature and a move to Stade Velodrome is an obvious attraction.
Marseille are keen to reunite Ljuboja with Mamadou Niang - the two played together for five months at Strasbourg and grabbed 19 goals between them during that period.
PSG transfer supremo Jean-Michel Moutier stated that the rivalry between the two clubs would not interfere with any possible deal.
"As soon as we say Danijel Ljuboja is not part of our plans anymore, I can't see why we should block his transfer," he said.
"However, we are far away from an agreement yet."
