Ljuboja wants France return

Danijel Ljuboja has revealed he wants to return to France in the summer.

Danijel Ljuboja has revealed he wants to return to France in the summer, with Lens and St Etienne on his trail.

The striker is currently plying his trade in the Bundesliga and is on loan at Hamburg from German rivals Stuttgart.

The Serbian has struggled to make a lasting impact with either club and is now chasing a move back to Ligue 1.

Lens and St Etienne are both reportedly interested, and the former Paris Saint Germain forward would be happy to join either team.

"Lens and ASSE have contacted me," Ljuboja told France Football.

"I know both coaches very well - Francis Gillot and Ivan Hasek.

"Lens could play in the Champions League, while St Etienne is a historical club.

"I have a big desire to move back to France."
