Grimsby Town have released defender Gary Harkins.The 22-year-old has had his Mariners contract cancelled by mutual consent and has already sealed a move to Partick Thistle.
"I'm delighted to get back up the road to Scotland and to get back to enjoying my football again," he told Partick's official website.
"I hadn't been happy since moving to Grimsby and was a bit homesick."
Meanwhile, Town have appointed John McDermott as a new youth coach.
The club have also released trailist Stevland Angus.
