Bean makes Swans move

Swansea have re-signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Marcus Bean on loan.

Swansea have, as expected, re-signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Marcus Bean on a month's loan.

The 20-year-old made eight appearances while on loan for The Swans last season and comes in to cover for injured midfield duo Kristian O'Leary and Owain Tudur-Jones.

Manager Kenny Jackett, who knows Bean from his time as coach at QPR, said: "He's a good, athletic player and has something like 80 league games under his belt already.

"So we're very happy to have him here."

As one midfielder temporarily left Loftus Road, another, Lee Cook, has returned to full training for Ian Holloway's side.

The 23-year-old winger sustained a knee injury during a goalless draw at Hull on the opening day of the Championship season and has not trained since.

However Rangers' match with Southampton on Saturday may come too soon for the former Watford man, who has targeted Tuesday's meeting with Luton for a competitive return.
