Rasiak in hunt for Addicks deal

Grzegorz Rasiak boosted his chances of securing a contract at Charlton with a goal on his first appearance.

The former Derby and Southampton striker is on trial with the Addicks as manager Chris Powell searches for a fourth striker to complement Bradley Wright-Phillips, Paul Benson and Paul Hayes. And he grabbed Charlton's only goal from the penalty spot as an otherwise youthful side went down 2-1 in a freindly at Carshalton Athletic. However the 32-year-old Pole, who needs to build up his match fitness, squandered three other chances to find the net in front of the watching Powell.
