Manuel Pascali has branded Kirk Broadfoot a publicity-seeking coward after the Rangers defender alleged he received a death threat from the Kilmarnock captain.
Broadfoot claimed Pascali was 'in my face saying he was going to kill me' after the pair clashed at Ibrox on Tuesday night.
But the Kilmarnock skipper has angrily denied the claim and insists the Scotland international is lying.
Pascali said in the
Daily Record: "Who will be the judge? I would like people who know both of us to decide. They will have an idea.
"But those who know me will know it's lies. I couldn't believe what he said about me because I'm not that kind of man.

"It's disappointing and unfair, as I have never said anything like that in my life. I'd never use a word such as kill.
"It is not part of my vocabulary and it never will be so I was disappointed to have it attributed to me.
"Broadfoot has used lies to cover up what he did and that is the act of a coward.
"I stay away from the spotlight but maybe he's upset he hasn't been in the paper for a long time. Maybe he wanted some attention. But he's stepped over the line because talking about killing people is beyond a joke.
"It has hurt me as I know the importance of the word kill. It should never be used for fun. My manager, Kenny Shiels, was laughing at him after the game but this is not something to make fun of.
"If someone is using a word like kill towards another man then that someone is stupid. But I'm not a stupid man and I have never had one problem in the three years I've spent in Glasgow."
