Bhoys boss explains winger's absence

Celtic boss Neil Lennon insists there has been no fall-out with Northern Ireland international Niall McGinn. McGinn revealed on Twitter he was unhappy at missing Celtic's tour of Australia fuelling rumours of a bust-up with Lennon. However, Lennon revealed McGinn was left out of the trip to Australia because of his international commitments at the Carling Nations Cup in May. "Niall was late coming in because he was away on international duty and we were only ever taking 23 players here with us anyway," said Lennon. "I'll speak to him when I get back, but he'll be involved in the games before the season starts. He'll be coming to Ireland with us as well for the Dublin Cup. "I've not had the chance to speak to him yet, but I just felt he could do with an extra couple of days. "He'll feature in the game we have against Partick Thistle on July 16. There has been no fall-out with him, not at all."
