Choice of words hints future could lie in another form of motorsport

Jenson Button says he is “not ready to stop racing” - but his choice of words suggests his future may lie away from Formula 1.
The 2009 World Champion is widely expected to be replaced by Fernando Alonso for 2015 at the Woking team, bringing to an end a five-year partnership.
Button produced an impressive drive to fourth in the Brazilian Grand Prix and, when it was suggested he wasn’t ready to leave Formula 1, the Briton told Sky Sports F1: “Not ready to stop racing no.”
That he made a point of avoiding the word F1 would suggest Button is now resigned to his 15-year F1 career coming to an end in Abu Dhabi, despite displays in recent races showing he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
“I think I’ve had it since I was 20-years-old, but just gaining experience and I think that experience showed today,” he added.
“I’m really happy with P4 – you always want more and to challenge for that podium and we felt like we were sort of playing with the Williams at one point, but that wasn’t the case. I enjoyed the race, it was a great battle with Kimi and to beat both Red Bulls, both Ferraris and a Williams isn’t a bad day’s work.
“That is all I can do right now, go out and enjoy my racing and I loved it today. You have good days, you have bad days when you are in a situation like I am mentally, but I don’t think any of the days on circuit have been negative, they have always been positive and I am going strong so I am happy.”
The 12 points for fourth mean Button stays ahead of Felipe Massa in seventh in the Constructors’ Championship with 106 points, nearly double the 55 scored by team-mate Kevin Magnussen.
