Randy Orton earned an Extreme Rules showdown with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins by winning a Triple Threat Match on Raw.

The Viper edged Roman Reigns and Ryback during the main event in Texas, flooring the latter with an RKO after Reigns had been taken out of commission by a pair of KO Punches from Big Show.

Orton will now get the chance to become a 13-time world champion when he tackles Rollins, the man he beat at WrestleMania 31, live on Sky Sports Box Office on Sunday, April 26.

The Apex Predator, Reigns and Ryback had been involved in warm-up matches prior to their big bout, besting Kane, Big Show and Luke Harper respectively, but champion Rollins also donned his in-ring gear in The Lone Star State.

The Aerialist saw off the spirited challenge of Newcastle-born NXT graduate Neville – but only after assistance from his hired help, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury aka J&J Security.

Rollins appeared on the verge of defeat when the Brit lined him up for the Red Arrow but Noble and Mercury’s intervention allowed the former Shield man to Curb Stomp the high-flyer, pin him and then Curb Stomp him again.

Elsewhere, John Cena successfully defended his United States Championship in a clash with Stardust; a resurgent Sheamus Brogue Kicked his way to victory over Mark Henry; and the athletic tandem of Paige and Naomi conquered The Bella Twins.
