Jessica Korda will take a one-shot lead into the third round of the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic after firing a seven-under-par 66.
Korda carded eight birdies and dropped just one shot - on the par-four eighth - as she followed up her opening-day 69 to take the lead on 11 under.
Paula Creamer is a shot behind after an extraordinary second round. She had a double-bogey six on the first but kept her composure and clawed her way back into contention.
She fired successive birdies in her next four holes before finishing with 10 birdies in total.
Michelle Wie also shot a 65 to finish the day on nine under, the same as Jenny Suh who carded a 66.
Overnight leaders Lydia Ko and Meena Lee had mixed second days.
New Zealand's Ko scored 70 to drop down to fifth on eight under, but Lee had a shocker. The South Korean tumbled down to joint 35th spot following a 76, leaving her on two under.
She is at least still in the tournament, unlike Wales' Becky Morgan, whose round of 80 saw her miss the cut, finishing four over for the tournament having started the day just two shots off the lead.
