Taylor: Hammers man is on the show

Two West Ham stars, an A-List actor and a talented synth-pop band... the Soccer AM sofa is going to be stacked.

Max, Helen and the team will back in the studio on Saturday morning at the usual time of 10am and as well as showing you the week's most eye-catching goals, they will interview Ricardo Vaz Te and Matt Taylor, Warwick Davis and Hurts.

Vaz Te netted the winner at Wembley last spring as West Ham edged Blackpool in the Championship play-off final to regain their Premier League status, and has been an important part of the Hammers side this term as well, despite missing a chunk of the season with a dislocated shoulder.

The Portuguese's team-mate Taylor, who arrived at Upton Park from Bolton in the summer of 2011, has been a regular, too, but was taken off after just 10 minutes of the Londoners' 1-0 win at Stoke last weekend after being knocked unconscious.

The 31-year-old will tell us how he is recovering, while he and Vaz Te will also discuss what it's like to work under Sam Allardyce and whether the Irons can steer clear of the relegation battle between now and May.

Davis, meanwhile, is perhaps best known for playing Wicket W. Warrick in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and starring in Ricky Gervais creations Life's Too Short and An Idiot Abroad; he will chat about those experiences, and the 25th anniversary of fantasy film Willow, in which he played the lead role.

Plus, Hurts stars Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson will drop by to talk about their musical success, new album Exile - released on Friday, March 8 - and football.
