Colin Hendry: on the show

After the excitement of watching England take on San Marino, chill out on Saturday morning with a jam-packed edition of Soccer AM - including the X Factor finalists taking on the Crossbar Challenge!

Tune in to see how the singers got on as well as the usual mix of guests, goals and laughs to provide the perfect kick-off to your weekend.

The first guest down the tunnel this week will be former Man City, Blackburn and Rangers defender Colin Hendry. The ex-Scotland captain, who won over 50 caps for his country, has Premier League, SPL, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup winners' medals. He's currently coaching at Rovers and will give us the lowdown on life at Ewood Park as the 1994-1995 Premier League winners try to return to the top flight.

TV and radio presenter Terry Christian is also on the show. He made headlines this week when he was banned by his son's U11 team for Tweeting about a teenage referee's 'biased' performance after a recent game. Christian - a well-known voice to talkSPORT and Radio 5 Live listeners for his football debate shows - will tell us about what went on.

We've also got Gaz Coombes on the show, who was the singer of Britpop superstars Supergrass. Their hits such as 'Alright', 'Caught by the Fuzz' and 'Pumping on your Stereo' were the soundtrack to the 90s. The band split in 2010 but this year he's released solo album 'Here Come the Bombs'. We'll talk to him about his new project - and ask him about those legendary sideburns!
