"All the Londoners used to come down from London and pick hops. It's a comedy drama; Darling Buds of May meets The Killing! We try and cater for everybody! "

Quotes of the week

Following his last appearance on Soccer AM and one of the worst booking mix-ups of all time, Shaun Williamson returned to the orange sofas on Saturday!

Five months ago we thought we had booked the legendary Manchester City striker Shaun Goater to appear on the show when in fact Jump Out Man Chris had accidentally got Williamson - aka Barry from EastEnders, instead!

Being the great sport he is, the Fulham fan was happy to answer the questions Helen and Max had prepared for Goater, and to hilarious effect!

Thankfully there was no such mix-up this time and the 46-year-old, who entered the studio with Goater, began by telling us about his latest project:

"I've written a television series which is now in development," he said. "It's about hop-pickers in the 1930s down in Kent.

"All the Londoners used to come down from London and pick hops. It's a comedy drama; Darling Buds of May meets The Killing! We try and cater for everybody!

"And I'm still doing a lot of cabarets. I'm doing one tonight and I'm presenting the Higher UK Awards at the Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane, and tomorrow night I'm singing at a holiday camp in Brackensham Bay... living the dream!"

Needless to say Helen and Max had lots more questions for him on his hat-trick appearance, including how he was mistaken for Meat Loaf in the Evening Stadard!
