A week to remember

What a week!

I went to watch Chelsea thrash Spurs 5-1 on Sunday at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final and then spent 90 minutes in agony on Wednesday night as they somehow managed to keep out Barcelona.

I had a ticket for Wednesday as well but I wasn't feeling great so gave it to my brother. Watching that game on TV made me feel worse though - and I'm already nervous about the second leg on Tuesday!

It's going to be much harder out there because Barcelona are just brilliant at the Nou Camp. There's really nothing we can do apart from get organised and defend for our lives. I've never seen a team as good as Barcelona so if we do get through it will be amazing.

Di Matteo deserves it

You've got to hand it to Roberto Di Matteo. He's done a great job. When we took over we were getting well beaten by West Brom. Now we're beating Barcelona! I'd give him the job permanently. He's got the players playing well and I think he deserves it.

Sunday's game wasn't as easy as the scoreline suggested either. For the first half hour Spurs were all over us but fortunately Didier Drogba turned it around with a wonder goal to give me the bragging rights over the Tottenham boys in the office.

They're still complaining about the 'ghost goal' and I guess I've got to admit it wasn't a goal. The sooner we get technology in the better. It wouldn't take long to double check and it could make a big difference.

After a great week Chelsea have now got Arsenal straight after the show on Saturday and it's going to be another tough one for us. I just hope they're not too knackered after Wednesday night because Arsenal have a habit of beating the big teams.

Busy man

It's been a busy week for me too. I've met the cast of the new Avengers movie - including the rather nice Cobie Smulders - and also interviewed the some of the guys from American Pie. You can see the latter on the show on Saturday. All I can say is the interview involves stripping and plenty of craziness!

We've got Peter Schmeichel on the show this week and I'm looking forward to it. He's a cool guy and a bit of a legend. We've also got Louis Smith and the Cribs. The Cribs are a great band and Ryan, their singer, is hilarious. He cracks me up. Make sure you don't miss it.
