Gunners and tutus!

Tubes dusts of his dancing shoes!

No junkets or interviews this week mean it's been a relatively quiet few days for me, so instead I've been mentally preparing for next week, which is going to be hectic!

Quotes of the week

Interviews with Jermain Defoe and Chris Smalling on Monday and Tuesday will be followed by a spot of ballet with the Arsenal squad on Thursday, before I head off on Friday to make my debut in a Music video for Sway... I honestly don't know what I'm most excited about!

Getting time with three of the top clubs in the country in the same week is just unheard of, but I can't wait, even if it means I start my week a day earlier than usual.

I tweeted Jermain Defoe a while back to see if he was up for a chat, but I didn't hear anything back initially and I didn't think anything of it.

Then last week I discovered the 'direct message' button on my twitter page and sitting in there was a message from Jermain along with a load of people who probably thought I'd been blanking them for the last year!

Once I realised he had actually got back to me we sorted things out pretty quickly and I can't wait to meet him, or Chris Smalling the day after for that matter.

He's been a bit unlucky with injuries recently but he looks a dead cert to go to the Euros this summer as long as he's fit.

Every time I've seen him play this season he's looked good - whether that's at right-back or centre-back, so it'll be interesting to get his take on his first full season at the club.

Ballet

As things stand I'll be back in the office on Wednesday, but I'll be hitting the road again on Thursday, although this time I'll only be travelling as far as north London to meet up with the Arsenal squad.

I've gotta admit I'm not 100 per cent sure what we're going to be doing, all of I've been told is that it involves ballet!

I think the Arsenal players are going to be having a go, and who knows I might dust of my old dancing shoes and get involved too!

There won't be a tutu in site on Friday, though, as I make my music video debut with Sway!

He's a regular on the show and one of my many "mentors", so when he called me up and asked if I'd be in his new video I couldn't really refuse!

We've worked well together in the past, too. We recorded 'The Phatso Dance' a couple of years ago which was a good laugh so I'm looking forward to it, although apparently I'm going to be one of the main actors this time, so there's a bit of pressure!

I'll let you know how it all goes next week... if I get time!

Tubes answers your questions

Have you got one question and one question only for Tubes? If so fill in the comments section below with whatever you want to know about the lyrical genius and we'll pick out the best ones for him to answer.

Matt White (Chelsea fan) says... Tubes you're a great bloke and I love you, my question to you is... Are you related to Spinal Tap's manager Ian Faith? I watched the film again recently and couldn't believe the resemblance. I'd love to see you re-enact the scene with the cricket bat in the hotel lobby. Keep up the good work!

Tubes says: I haven't actually seen the film Matt, but you're not the first person to ask me this so I'm guessing there is quite a resemblance! But no, he's no relation of mine... as far as I know!

Peter Daley (Liverpool fan) says... Tubes you're a great guy but what I want to know is what's best: Walkers Cheese and Onion or Golden Wonder Cheese and Onion. Thanx.

Tubes says: That's a tough one for me to answer because I don't actually like cheese and onion, whatever the brand. So I'll say neither! Personally, I don't think you can go too wrong with McCoy's chilli flavour crisps - they're winners!
