We returned to the office looking remarkably fresh this week considering it was Tubes' 30th on Saturday!
It might be a sign of the times - or maybe we're just getting old - but disappointingly not one person disgraced themselves on the night out in Balham. In fact, even the birthday boy was well behaved, which is just unheard of!
Still it meant we were all raring to go on an unusually busy Tuesday because of 'Transfer Deadline Day'.
It's nowhere near as crazy as last year but you can't help keep one eye on the TV, especially when Jim White comes on!
The random fans in the background when Sky Sports News' finest are trying to let us in on what's going on are always great value as well. And of course we're all hoping for a new 'Roll up man'!
Speaking of good value the Soccer AM horse will be racing on Wednesday! OK we know we give him a hard time but we are really behind Accordintoliamlawrence, and we're confident he might even finish a race before the year's out!
His solitary win on Boxing Day has been the only thing to get excited about so far and most of us missed that because we were too busy stuffing our faces with Christmas leftovers!
We'll all be watching at 3.30pm on Wednesday as he braves the weather at Leicester though. That said we're not sure how much of our own money we'll be staking on him!
As exciting as that is the prospect of Baby Elvis getting smashed by one of this week's guests; NFL star Ndamukong Suh!
The Detroit Lions player - who's over ahead of the Super Bowl - is a bit of a hardnut by all accounts, so it's no wonder Baby Elvis was doing his best to get out of it:
"I definitely can't do it because I've got a bad ankle. There's just no way I can do it," he told us.
Firstly, where there's a will there's a way. Secondly, we want to see a doctor's note. And thirdly, when every single crew member came up with it as an idea this week... it's surely going to happen!
Besides, if we were him we'd be worried about our ribs, not our ankle! Especially after what Bobbie found out about the 307 lb star:
"Apparently he's been criticised in the media by other players for his aggressive style of play. He was ejected from a game on Thanksgiving for appearing to stamp on someone's arm!"
Yeah, on second thoughts maybe this isn't that good an idea!
Suh won't be the only the person flying in from the U S of A, because we'll also have the St Louis Rams Cheerleaders live in the studio, too!
Plus, John Scales and indie rockers Spector will also be gracing us with their presence this week to complete a pretty good line-up.
So make sure you set your alarms!
P.S. if you haven't seen the epic back-heel goal from Bolivia at the weekend google it! Hopefully we'll be able to show it on Saturday too.
