Pedal to the metal

Hahnemann, Dell'Olio, Corden and Blues... it's been a busy week!

Hahnemann: Heavy metal fan

It's been an eventful few days.

We had a great show on Saturday and I even managed to place in the Dance Off, although I was as surprised as Justin Lee Collins about that!

It was good to see Trev win though, even if he is a bit of reluctant winner. Everyone says they hate it but he really does... unlike Baby Elvis who loves it!

Raj was playing it cool too, but you could tell he was gagging to win!

It was a relief to get it out of the way though and things got better later in the show because I got a cheeky kiss off Nancy Dell'Olio backstage!

I laid down the groundwork with my one question and she was obviously impressed coz she went for the lips! I didn't think that was appropriate though so I gave her a little swerve and turned my head and got a peck on the cheek instead.

Unlucky

A trip to Stamford Bridge and three points for Chelsea completed a really good Saturday, although I was gutted Fernando Torres' scissor kick didn't end up in the back of the net. I've never seen a more unlucky player than him.

What made it worse was the fact that I thought he'd scored. I was at the other end of the stadium and we didn't realise his shot had cannoned off the bar and Frank Lampard had put it in the back of the net.

Either way it was unbelievable tekkers and I'd be surprised if it didn't make this week's Showboat, but you never know with James these days! (if you don't know what I'm talking about watch this clip!)

I celebrated that win a little bit too hard if I'm honest, but a trip to New Forest for a bit spa treatment sorted me right out.

Half an hour in the steam room and I was as good as new and ready to enjoy the rest of my weekend. The place was immense and I could've easily spent a few more days there, but I had to get to the West End to see James Corden.

I went along to the Adelphi theatre to see him in 'One Man, Two Guvnors' and it was brilliant. If you get a chance definitely go and see it because he had me in stitches.

Metal

Onto this week and on Tuesday I met up with Everton 'keeper Marcus Hahnemann in Shoreditch for what was supposed to be a quick chat but turned out to be a 14-hour day!

He was guest appearing in a death metal band as their singer and we had a right old laugh in this pretty plush studio.

The only downside was that there was a lot of waiting around, but that gave him time to tell me about his plane and the fact that he can now do a loop-the-loop in it!

We obviously chatted a lot about football too and I've got to say he really is a cool guy. He's always great for bant so hopefully it will all come together in the edit suite.

There's a lot of footage to go through anyway, so I better crack on!

Later,

Karl Walker (Birmingham City fan) says... I have a question for Tubes! Does he do the London skit on Rick Ross's new album!?

Tubes says: Sorry Karl but I don't even know who Rick Ross is! Is someone mimicking my style!?

Nigel Chiwanga (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says... Wassup Tubes. One thing's for sure and that's the fact that you are my favourite rapper but what I want to know is which rapper do you take inspiration from?

Tubes says: Well Vanilla Ice is a hero of mine, but I've gotta say I love 2Pac as well. Changes is probably my favourite song, but I've got all his albums. He did a great track with Elton John as well called Ghetto Gospel. In fact I think I'm going to listen to all these now and head down memory lane!
