Three-weight world champion James Toney is part of an exciting line-up for the Britain v USA Prizefighter International Heavyweights bill on November 14 and he joined Johnny Nelson and Adam Smith in the Ringside studio to talk about it.

Prizefighter: The Heavyweights

Live Saturday November 16 from York Hall, Bethnal Green, Sky Sports 1 HD from 8pmn

Toney is likely to cause a stir when he fights in Britain for the first time in his glittering career on a bill topped by Anthony Joshua's third professional bout at York Hall in Bethnal Green, live on Sky Sports.

And ahead of that appearance, Toney answered some questions about his most famous fights, including the battle with Michael Nunn in 1991.

Here are few of the big man's best quotes from the show...

You don't have much love for Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank, did you?

I'm not hating on those guys, they were good fighters they were respected over here [in England]. In America we used to talk about them and I didn't like that.

You were put in with all the top-drawer fighters, do you think they were trying to shut you out?

I never ran from that, I always wanted it. Because if I said I was the best fighter in the world I had to prove it. I fought everybody at middleweight, at super-middleweight, at heavyweight, at cruiserweight - I always fought the best fighters in the world. I've fought Sam Peters, John Ruiz and Hasim Rahman.

Why did you go through the weights?

Because first of all, before boxing I was playing football. I wanted to come in as heavyweight and they kept saying 'we need to get your weight down' so I bought in to that and I kept on trying to be 154lbs at amateur and I couldn't do it. My goal was always to become the heavyweight champion of the world and become the first to come from the middleweight division to the heavyweight division to do that.

Would you have beaten Johnny Nelson?

Easily... Johnny Nelson was a great fighter here on British soil and if he had of came over the ocean then I'd have had to catch him.

You're going to be in Prizefighter, what do you know about the tournament?

I know it brings back people's careers and I don't care about any of the other fighters in there and I don't even want to see them. I know Audley Harrison has won it twice and fighting in three fights in one night is a dream come true for me.

What are we to expect from you?

Lights out. All I want to tell you right now is that there were several other fighters on the card and my Mom looked at the card and said: 'You know when you don't pay the bill - what happens to the building? 'All the lights go out.'
