Every week Sky Sports News has been encouraging the nation to Get Involved in sport.
Our series focusing on grassroots sport has shown how people of all abilities can take up a wide range of different activities, as well as challenging the authorities to make sure they are fulfilling their obligations to increase participation.
During Get Involved Week (June 4-10), Sky Sports News travelled across the UK and Ireland to look at the issues and told some great tales about the people who make grassroots sports tick.
We went to sports clubs in towns and cities across the nation to look at the issues facing the major sports, as well as a few of the not-so-major ones.
