Cricket AM is once again giving two lucky club cricketers the chance to mix it with a county side.
Following a rigorous selection process, we choose 10 contenders and they swiftly went up to the ECB's National Performance Centre in Loughborough to test their batting and bowling mettle.
After a thorough workout, eight members of the group saw their journey come to an end but two fortunate souls progressed to the next stage, where they got their Shot at the Pros.

Episode One - Bat in hand
The chosen 10 introduce themselves before having their batsmanship skills examined by former England players Mark Ramprakash and Dominic Cork and ex-Yorkshire and Leicestershire off-spinner Jack Birkenshaw. The group deal with express pace bowling and then turn their attentions to twirl, firstly attempting to play solid defensive strokes and then to crack the ball to the boundary.
Episode Two - Bowling practice
The boys turn their arm over this week and have a go with the ball, focussing on bowling both good and yorker-length pace deliveries as well as the art of spin. Our hopefuls even get the chance to bowl at two-time Test centurion Ramprakash - before they learn which two of them have been handed the opportunity to train with a first-class county.
Episode Three - Pace ace
Varun Khullar is put through his paces by Glamorgan and ex-England paceman Simon Jones, who had heard good things from Cork about Khullar but wanted to see the bowler in the flesh. The boys get in the net for a variety of training work-outs, focussing on length, speed and the arts of the bouncer and the yorker - and Jones is left impressed with Khullar's worth ethic.
Episode Four - Behind the stumps
Jonathan Das is given some wicketkeeping words of wisdom from former England and Surrey gloveman Alec Stewart. First up, Stewart took a look at Das' batting and gave him some advice on the playing the pull shot. After being impressed with Das' work in the nets. the pair ran through a series of wicket-keeping drills. Once again, Stewart was pleased with Das' performance - and says his future success in the game is simply down to determination.
Episode Five - Yorkshire pride
It's the big day for Khullar as he treks to Yorkshire for his Shot at the Pros. After loosening his muscles in the warm-up, Varun bowls to the Tykes' batsmen, testing them with both hit-the-deck and slower deliveries, as well as yorkers. Yorkshire's Director of Professional Cricket, Martyn Moxon, paceman Liam Plunkett and batter Gary Ballance are suitably impressed, and Khullar receives plenty of encouragement, too, from a legendary Australian quick, Tykes coach Jason Gillespie.
Episode Five - Winner at Warwickshire
Khullar's fellow Shot at the Pros winner 2013, Jonathan Das, got the opportunity to be 12th man for Warwickshire in their County Championship game against Nottinghamshire. The aspiring wicket-keeper joined the team for their pre-match meeting, kept for the bowlers during their warm-ups and brought out drinks for the boys during the game. Coach Dougie Brown spent some time with Jonathan in the nets and described him as a great young lad with a rosy future. Jonathan, meanwhile, said he was 'thrilled' by the experience. See how he got on here...
