Cricket AM: Onions, Rogers and Cole open season in style!

Last Updated: 31/05/13 12:09pm

The Ashes are coming - and Cricket AM is ready!

Our new season gets underway on Saturday and to celebrate we've got a first-rate Anglo-Australian line-up in the studio.

England seamer Graham Onions and Australian batsman Chris Rogers will join presenters Sarah-Jane Mee and Matt Floyd in the studio to look ahead to a huge summer of cricket that features the imminent ICC Champions Trophy as well as their prospects of playing in back-to-back Ashes series.

We'll chasse smoothly from epic feats to dancing feet in the company of ballroom dancer and huge cricket fan Brendan Cole, a proud Kiwi who no doubt will have a few thoughts on his team's recent performances! Plus, we'll also find out what projects he's got in the pipeline.

As well as all this chat, we'll bring you plenty of match action and weekly features including:

Crash, Bang, Wallop - Who is the biggest hitter in county cricket? This summer we aim to find out so watch out for some smashing strokes

A to Z of the Ashes - Each week our historical and irreverent look at the history of the Ashes will bring some of the characters and key moments to life

Champion guide - Our very own Nasser Hussain gives us his team-by-team guide to the ICC Champions Trophy

Shot at the Pros - We're looking to unearth these gems and give them... a Shot at the Pros. Our two lucky winners will get the chance to live the life of a pro-cricketer picking up tips and pointers from world famous coaches and players. Watch the video above for more information.

Plus, we'll show you what goes on in the Sky Cricket commentary box when it's raining and give you the chance to find out more about Last Man Stands Cricket - a global eight-a-side amateur Twenty20 cricket league in which each game is typically completed in less than two hours.
