Ricky Hatton reunited with his old team to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his victory over Kostya Tszyu for the IBF world light-welterweight belt - his first world title.

Hatton, now 36, met with previously-estranged trainer Billy Graham, strength and conditioning coach Kerry Kayes and cutsman Mick Williamson at the Victoria Warehouse to remember that special night at Manchester's MEN Arena when the Australian retired on his stool before the final round.

"Everyone said it was the greatest night we've ever had. It was."

Here's what the team had to say...

Ricky Hatton

"Everyone said it was the greatest night we've ever had. It was. I'm Mancunian and I was in Manchester beating arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. It was a little bit more than winning a world title. You can't describe it.

"There was Billy Graham, Kerry Kayes, Mick Williamson and Bobby Rimmer. It was our greatest boxing night and I want to share it with them. The fact that Billy's here tonight has made my night."

Billy Graham

"It was 10 years ago and it was a huge night for me so I've come to be part of the celebrations and obviously to meet Ricky again.

"The moment that sticks out in my mind was looking around to see it was over and I told Ricky. The look on his face, his eyes... only I could see it."

Kerry Kayes

"The team had the best seat in the house because we were in the corner. It was an incredible night, 2 o'clock in the morning and I don't think at the time we realised how big the fight was. It turned out to be a history-maker and it was certainly the pre-cursor for the Ricky Hatton Las Vegas days.

"Billy Graham always said that Johnny Lewis would pull Kostya Tszyu out if it was getting that rough, and it was getting rough. I could see when the referee went over that Lewis was saying to him 'no more' and I shouted: 'Billy it's over!' It was an incredible moment."

Mick Williamson

"I just remember standing in the ring before he came out and my hairs stood on end. I always remember saying to myself: 'Do you realise what you've got? Do you appreciate it?' It was unbelievable."

Hatton went on to win the WBA title in the same division before stepping up to welterweight, where he was defeated by Floyd Mayweather. He later returned to light-welterweight but suffered defeat to Manny Pacquiao and retired at the end of 2011 after a third loss to Vyacheslav Senchenko.
