Premier League: Arsenal v Man United one of four games live next weekend

Palace-Liverpool, Hull-Tottenham and Villa-Southampton also on

One of the Premier League's greatest rivalries will be in full force on Saturday Night Football when Arsenal host Manchester United.

The sides have fought for many titles in the past but with both making stuttering starts to the new campaign, this clash (5.30pm, Sky Sports 1) is more about the race for a top-four spot.

Arsenal sit sixth on 17 points, with United one place and one point further back, meaning the teams are a whopping 12 and 13 points respectively behind runaway leaders Chelsea.

That’s not to say the Emirates fixture will be lacking in spice, with the visitors’ former Gunners striker Robin van Persie likely to be roundly booed by the home faithful.

Following on from Saturday’s encounter, Super Sunday will show two more crunch games from the English top flight: Crystal Palace v Liverpool (12.30pm) and Hull v Tottenham (3.30pm).

Palace are only out of the bottom three on goal difference, while Liverpool have won just four Premier League games all season and lost their previous two.

Both outfits are struggling with confidence but if their contest is as thrilling as the one from last term – when the Reds raced into a 3-0 lead by half time yet ended up drawing 3-3 – we’re in for a treat.

Tottenham, meanwhile, were touted as top-four contenders before a ball was kicked this campaign, but three defeats in four has seen the White Hart Line group slip into the bottom half.

See how Mauricio Pochettino’s current charges fare against a Hull side packed with Spurs old boys on Sunday – before heading back to Sky Sports 1 on Monday (7pm) to see the Argentine’s former side, this term’s surprise package Southampton, tackle an out-of-form Aston Villa.
