Sky Sports News racehorse On Demand will make her racecourse debut at Salisbury on Thursday.

The two year old will make her bow in the EBF Quidhampton Maiden Fillies' Stakes at 1440 and trainer Andrew Balding is hopeful of a good performance.

On Demand had been expected to kick-off her career at Lingfield this week, but following concerns about the ground running too quickly, Balding has instead opted for Salisbury.

"It's a fillies' maiden over seven furlongs so it's a great starting point as long as the ground isn't too fast," he said.

"It was good to firm in places at the last meeting and I hope if they've watered and maintained that it will be perfectly safe.

"Anything can happen first time out but she seems to know her job at home and she's certainly ready to go."

Sky Sports News teamed up with Great British Racing to buy On Demand in a bid to show viewers - who have since voted for her name and colours - what it takes to develop a racehorse.

Stay tuned to Sky Sports News as we track her final preparations.
