Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas could not fault his team's performance as they opened their Europa League campaign with a 0-0 draw against Lazio.
Spurs were held at White Hart Lane, but they did hit the back of the net three times.
Jermain Defoe, Clint Dempsey and Steven Caulker all saw efforts ruled out - although the latter two looked very harsh decisions.
And Vilas-Boas insists the Dempsey and Caulker goals should have stood, saying: "I think we had enough football to get the win.
"I am extremely happy with the performance and effort the players put in and in the end you can't reprimand them for nothing, they were outstanding today and they had enough opportunities to win the game.
"A team that puts the ball in the net three times, and see two goals that were clear is disappointing but it shows we are on the right track, but the team has been doing extremely well."
