Jason Dufner celebrates after tapping in for a two-shot victory

Jason Dufner secured his first major title in impressive style by shooting a closing 68 to win the US PGA Championship by two shots at Oak Hill.

One shot behind Jim Furyk at the start of play, Dufner edged past his fellow American thanks to a hugely impressive display of ball-striking.

He peppered the flag at 5, 8 and 16 to leave himself tap-in birdies and was able to bogey the last two holes as Furyk failed to put pressure on him down the stretch.

Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott and Jonas Blixt could never get close enough to Dufner, whose 63 in round two - the joint lowest score in the history of the majors - proved the foundation for victory.

Dufner kept positive

Jason Dufner said an aggressive attitude paid off on the final day. The American had blown a big lead in the same event two years ago before losing in a play-off and once again hit the front on Sunday. However, this time he kept his momentum going to ease to a two-shot win. He said: "I decided that I was going to be confident and put my best foot forward and play aggressive to try to win this thing."

Jason Dufner - cult hero

A tongue-in-cheek look at the incredibly laidback Jason Dufner and the range of emotions he shows on the golf course whatever the circumstances. We show him after birdie, after bogey, after double bogey and after winning a major. It's a case of spot the difference! Butch Harmon calls the 36-year-old American the "coolest dude you've ever been around".

A profile of the new major champion, with praise from Colin Montgomerie, Paul McGinley and Butch Harmon. We also take a look at how Dufner became a social media sensation after close friend Keegan Bradley posted a photo of the Dufmeister slouching in front of kids at a school - a pose which a sparked a craze amongst his fellow pros called 'Dufnering'.

US PGA final day blog

Sky sports analysts Butch Harmon and Mark Roe hail Jason Dufner's triumph and look at the reasons why he lifted the Wanamaker trophy and secured the final major of 2013. They also discuss those who didn't quite do enough, including the hugely disappointing Tiger Woods, and the positive signs shown by Rory McIlroy who came through to finish tied eighth.

Stenson targets 2014

Henrik Stenson has played some superb golf over the last few months with second places in The Open and WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and thirds in the Scottish Open and the US PGA in his last four starts. He discusses his bad break in the final round, says he was happy with his performance and hopes he can land a first major title in 2014.

Rory sees positives

Rory McIlroy was in a positive frame of mind despite failing to climb into contention in the final round. The defending champion needed to shoot a low score after starting six shots off the pace but after a bright start blew any chance he had by taking seven at the par-four fifth. However, he believes the good signs he saw can help him finish the season strongly.

Tiger's major problem

The legendary Jack Nicklaus joins David Livingstone, Colin Montgomerie and Butch Harmon in the studio to discuss the current form of Tiger Woods. The world number one remains four shy of Jack's record of 18 majors after a disappointing 40th place finish at Oak Hill and the 'Golden Bear' himself says he believes that Woods is trying to force the issue.

And finally....

A musical montage of a memorable week at Oak Hill. Capturing the highs and lows from the year's final major we see the full range of emotions from the contenders culminating in Jason Dufner getting a big hug from wife Amanda. Oh, there's even a brief clip of Miguel Angel Jimenez's warm-up routine!
