The scout reports...

Danish starlet Jores Okore is attracting the attention of a number of clubs and we assess just how good he is, and could be. The Ivory Coast-born stopper is a man mountain, despite being just 19 years old. Okore and his family moved to Denmark when he was aged just three, but as early as the age of eight he was already spotted by his local club B.93. He was then spotted by FC Nordsjaelland when he was 15 and he was soon captaining their youth side. Okore's progress was recognised and he was handed his first-team debut early last year aged just 18, and was soon a regular member of the senior squad. In June 2011 he penned his first professional deal by signing a four-year contract, but such has his progress been he penned a fresh four-year term in September - recognising his standing as one of the best young players in Scandinavia. Also in September, Okore was called up for the first-time to Denmark's international set-up by playing for their Under-21 side - but by December he was called into the senior squad, and has since made two appearances - seemingly denying any hopes Ivory Coast had of persuading him to switch allegiance. As expected Okore's progress has not gone unnoticed and the main interest has emerged from across the North Sea with Premier League scouts taking a keen interest. Okore could move to England without any need for a work permit and his skills look suited to the British game. Big and uncompromising, and not afraid of a challenge - Okore is a presence despite his tender years. But there is more to his game, as he has excellent close control and his reading of the game is superb.

The scout says...

A player with huge potential and you could easily see him in England. A move this summer could very well be on the cards. Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle are amongst those said to be readying bids for Okore.
