Latest under our scout's gaze is Borussia Dortmund starlet Mario Gotze - recommended by Sky Sports reader Ray Boyd.

The scout reports...

Branded as the German 'Messi', Mario Gotze is already considered as one of the best young players in the world.

At just 19 he is already a regular in the Germany side and has just helped Borussia Dortmund to the Bundesliga title.

Although many players are labelled their country's version of Lionel Messi - it is easy to see why that has happened in Gotze's case.

He plays in the same position, is similar in stature and plays in the same manner - brilliant in attack with sublime skill and lightning-quick feet.

He joined Borussia at the age of just eight and rapidly progressed through their youth ranks before being handed his senior debut in 2009.

But it was not until last season that he became a regular at Dortmund. He was given his chance and soon made a starting place his own, meaning by late in 2010 he was handed his international debut.

Quick and with an eye for goal, Gotze's is a huge danger in the last third, which many teams are now realising.

All of the Europe's top clubs are now circling to try and secure a deal for Gotze - who is quickly becoming one of the world's most coveted teenagers.

The scout says...

A truly, truly awesome talent who could walk into just about any side on the planet.

Borussia are desperate to keep him and he looks set to stay for at least another 12 months.
