Sadler back at Rotherham

Oldham manager Dean Holden was disappointed to lose "model professional" Mat Sadler to Rotherham after the end of his loan deal.

The left-back, 30, has spent the past month at SportsDirect.com Park, starting in seven appearances, but has returned to the Millers ahead of Latics' final four fixtures. "Mat has been a model professional during his month with the club," Holden told a press conference on Monday morning. "I've personally rang Steve Evans at Rotherham to say what a good influence he has had around the place. We wish Mat all the best for the future." Sadler has made only one appearance for the Millers since joining them from Crawley in the summer - a Capital One Cup outing in August - and boss Evans has confirmed he will not be offered a new deal at the end of the current campaign.
