Preston midfielder Keith Keane has joined his old boss Graham Westley at Stevenage on loan until April 1.
The 28-year-old has not played for North End for the entire season and his 15 appearances have all come with fellow League One outfit Crawley. However, having come back to Deepdale following his last appearance with the Red Devils on December 13, he has dropped down another division to link up with Westley, the man who signed him as Preston boss in 2012.
