Catania striker Edgar Cani has joined Championship side Leeds United on a loan deal.
The 6ft 5in Albania international has moved to Elland Road until the end of the season and will wear the No 10 shirt.
Leeds were also targeting Leonardo Pavoletti, but the Livorno striker was signed by Genoa on Friday.
United owner Massimo Cellino also ruled out re-signing Norwich’s Luciano Becchio, who scored 86 goals for Leeds before leaving for the Canaries two years ago.
