Colchester have confirmed that forward Jabo Ibehre has been told he can leave the club.
The striker has returned to the League One side having spent the last three months on loan with Oldham where he scored twice in 12 appearances. "If he can go out on loan or get another club, that's what we'll look at," U's boss Tony Humes told Gazette News. "We were looking originally at Oldham having a potential deal, either keeping him on loan until the end of the season or taking over his contract. "But that hasn't happened, so we just have to get on with it."
