Coventry will assess Bournemouth loan duo Josh McQuoid and Ryan Allsop before deciding whether to extend their stay.

The deal with Bournemouth - which was part of Callum Wilson's move to the Cherries - is due to expire on January 16. McQuoid has scored five goals in 16 games but has not played since the Sky Blues' shock 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Worcester last month. Gary Madine and Frank Nouble are Coventry's first-choice strike pairing and boss Steven Pressley admitted McQuoid could return to Bournemouth. "It's still under review but I think in Josh's mind things would probably have to change quite dramatically," he told the Coventry Telegraph. "He came here to "Between now and January 16, when his loan period ends, I would imaginethat if he doesn't play regularly during this period then in his own mind he'll probably want to look for another opportunity." Goalkeeper Allsop has played 19 games for Coventry after vying with Lee Burge for the number one spot. "We have discussed the situation with Ryan and that's something we'll assess over the next month," said Pressley. "He's come back into the side and I think his performances in the last two or three games have been very good. "We've had three clean sheets in four, which I think has helped his confidence because he looks far more assured and confident just now. "So the next five weeks with Ryan will define whether we decide to retain him or not, but I think he's made good strides in recent weeks."
