Huddersfield loanee Martin Paterson has had to cut short his loan stay at Fleetwood due to injury, while the Cod Army have recalled Matty Hughes from non-league Chester.
Paterson, a former Burnley team-mate of Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander, had been due to remain at Highbury until early January, but he sustained a hamstring injury in last weekend's loss at Swindon.
That has prompted Alexander, who already has two strikers on the treatment table, to recall Hughes from Vanarama Conference outfit Chester, with whom he scored five times in nine appearances.
