QPR midfielder Michael Doughty has extended his loan spell at Gillingham for another two months.
The 21-year-old, who moved to Priestfield on an initial month-long deal towards the end of October, has agreed to stay with the Gills until January 24. Doughty has made two appearances so far, a 1-1 draw with Crawley and the narrow 1-0 defeat at Fleetwood, and has done enough to persuade manager Peter Taylor to offer a longer deal.
