Double swoop for Stevenage

Stevenage have bolstered their squad with the capture of Arsenal youngster Jack Jebb and David McAllister of Shrewsbury.

England youth international Jebb, 19, could add some creativity in midfield, while 25-year-old Irishman McAllister has gained plenty of experience with Sheffield United and the Shrews. Manager Graham Westley continues to be without long-term absentees Calvin Zola, Cameron Lancaster, Adam Marriott, Sam Beasant, Jerome Okimo, Simon Walton and Harry Worley. Explaining the moves, he told Boro Player: "So many of the games we've played in, we were fractions away from winning, but we lost. If we can get a bit more in, we'll end up in a much better place, I'm sure."
