Chris Powell believes he needs to sign two or three players on loan to help kick-start Huddersfield Town’s season.
Huddersfield are third from bottom in the Sky Bet Championship after collecting just five points from their opening eight fixtures, and they were beaten 3-0 by Yorkshire rivals Leeds United on Saturday.
Powell believes there is enough ability in his squad to climb the table, but he would like to freshen things up with a few new faces.
“I have learned a lot from these first three games,” said Powell in the Huddersfield Examiner. “We will certainly work with the players to eradicate the mistakes which are proving very costly at the moment.
“The second goal right on half-time was a real blow for us.
“We did create chances, but we didn’t work their keeper enough, and you have to get shots and headers on target.
“There are clearly things we have to improve on, and fast, but I do feel we need to
bolster the squad.
“We need two or three to come in to help us get ourselves going.
“They have to be the right players for the situation we are in, and it’s an ongoing search.”
