Managerless Ross County have signed striker Michael Gardyne on loan from Dundee United until January.
The deal marks a return to the Highlands club for Gardyne, 28, who has spent two spells with County and scored 32 goals in 173 appearances.
Gardyne came through the ranks at Celtic but spent the 2006-7 season on loan with the Staggies and joined them on a permanent basis in 2008, eventually staying for four years before joining United.
He spent last season on loan with Kilmarnock and now returns to the Global Energy Stadium despite the club not having a manager in the wake of Derek Adams' dismissal last week.
They are currently bottom of the Scottish Premiership table after losing all five of their game so far.
County have also announced the loan signing of Celtic's Australian midfielder Jackson Irvine, who spent last season in a similar loan deal at Kilmarnock.
