Sky Sports understands Wycombe Wanderers have agreed a deal to sign Rotherham starlets Nicky Walker and Dan Rowe.

The two highly-rated teenagers are set to sign initial loan deals taking them to Christmas, after which point they will be reviewed.

It will be the second time at Adams Park for Rowe, as the central-defender finished last season on-loan at Wycombe - playing a huge part in them avoiding relegation.

Now the 18-year-old will be joined at Wycombe by midfielder Walker.

The 19-year-old - like Rowe - has come through Rotherham's youth system and has played a handful of first-team games.

Boss Steve Evans rates both players highly and is hoping a spell in League Two will further progress their development.
