West Ham United have offered Winston Reid a new long-term contract, Sky Sports understands.

The 26-year-old has been outstanding for The Hammers since joining from Danish club FC Midtjylland in 2010.

He signed a new deal last summer, but that only took him to 2015 and West Ham are now looking to extend that further, as they are aware a number of their Premier League rivals are taking a keen interest in Reid's situation.

Sources have confirmed to Sky Sports that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United are all monitoring Reid, but West Ham are determined to keep him.

With that in mind, they tabled an offer to Reid and his representatives earlier this month and hope to conclude a deal before the start of the Premier League season in August.
