Double swoop for Dagenham

Dagenham have completed two signings after securing deals for Joss Labadie and Matt Partridge.

Labadie joins the Daggers following the release from his contract with relegated Torquay while Partridge also arrives on a free transfer after his contract at Reading ran out. Midfielder Labadie, 23, had played for Notts County and Tranmere before his arrival at Torquay in January, but their relegation from the Football League meant that he was not offered a new deal. Partridge, a 20-year-old defender, has had impressive spells on loan at Bognor Regis and Basingstoke after coming through the youth system at Reading and becoming a regular member of the Under 21 squad, despite never going on to appear for the first team. Labadie was banned towards the end of last season after being found guilt of biting an opponent and receiving a 10-game ban, ruling him out of the Gulls survival battle.
