Stevenage have announced the triple signing of Ronnie Henry, Chris Whelpdale and Simon Walton.

Former skipper Henry left the club two years ago after making 329 appearances for the club and, after captaining Luton to promotion, returns to the Lamex Stadium. His previous spell included two promotions and two FA Trophy successes, which saw him become the first captain to lift a trophy at the new Wembley. Midfielder Whelpdale joins from Gillingham. Since making his debut the 27-year-old has helped the Gills and Peterborough gain promotion to League One and the Championship respectively. Walton joins after a two-year spell at Hartlepool ended with the midfielder's release in the summer. The club has also announced that defender Bira Dembele has signed a new one-year deal.
