League Two leaders Chesterfield have agreed a deal for Derby County starlet Mason Bennett.
The highly-rated 17-year-old forward, who has already played 20 first-team games for the Rams, is set to link up with Paul Cook's side.
Sky Sports understands the Spireites have beaten a host of clubs to Bennett's signature.
Cook had bemoaned his side's 'lack of a cutting edge' after their midweek draw with Wimbledon and he will be hoping Bennett is the answer.
Bennett will join Chesterfield on Thursday and will be eligible to make his debut against Oxford United on Saturday.
