Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost has not ruled out leaving the club this winter after opening his account for the season on Saturday.

The Dutch forward has spent most of the campaign on the bench, but it was his goal which set the Wolves on their way to a 3-1 win at Hannover, a result which keeps them seven points behind league leaders Bayern Munich and took them five ahead of third-placed Augsburg.

However, the 25-year-old did not express too much joy in scoring his first goal of the campaign when he spoke afterwards.

"Everybody wants to be playing and I'm not playing very often so of course I'm not happy," he told the Bild newspaper.

"I don't know about my future. I'm going to enjoy this goal and then we can talk about other things."

Dost has made only three appearances, all from the bench this season. Injury ruled him out of the first 11 games of last season, but he did manage four goals in 13 games before injury forced him to miss the last nine.
